Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Program

The Federal Home Loan Bank, with twelve offices nationally, provides funding to affordable housing through the Affordable Housing Program (AHP). AHP is a competitive program that provides grants twice a year for investment in low- or moderate-income housing. Several offices, including Pittsburgh, Boston, Atlanta, and San Francisco, have incorporated criteria related to green building into the application for AHP funds.
